I don't usually shop at Rainbow, but when I do I often get some great deals! Today was no different, even though I had to rework my groceries several times due to some items being out of stock. And for those who don't know it, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Rainbow will double 5 manufacturer coupons up to $1. You need to have a $25 minimum before coupons to have your coupons doubled. Today I did two transactions:
Transaction One
- Nutella, originally $3.55, on sale for $3.00, bought one and used one $1/1 from 8/28 RP that doubled = $1.00
- Marshmallows = $1.35
- Paper Plates, originally $5.35, on sale for $2.98 = $2.98
- Graham Crackers = $1.29
- Hershey's Chocolate Bars, originally $0.89, on sale for $0.60 each if you buy five, bought five = $3.00
- Pillsbury Sweet Moments Brownies, originally $3.39, on sale for $2.50, bought two and used two $1/1 manufacturer coupons (go to www.pocketyourdollars.com/coupon_database And search for Sweet Moments to find all the available coupons) that doubled = $1.00 ($0.50 each)
- Huggies Pull-Ups Flushable Moist Wipes 98 ct., originally $3.99, bought two and used two $1/1 from 8/14 SS which doubled = $3.98 ($1.99 each)
Total Spent on Transaction One (pre tax): $14.60
Total Saved on Transaction One: $16.15
Transaction Two
- Microfiber 400 Thread Count King Sheets, originally $29.99, on clearance for 50% off = $14.99
- Pillsbury Sweet Moments Brownies, originally $3.39, on sale for $2.50, bought five and used five $1/1 manufacturer coupons that doubled (go to www.pocketyourdollars.com/coupon_database And search for Sweet Moments to find all the available coupons) = $2.50 ($0.50 each)
