8/17/11 Rainbow Foods Transactions

I rarely shop at Rainbow Foods because I don't often need enough items (at least at their prices) to reach a $25 transaction required to double 5 coupons. But today I ended up having two transactions! Here is the breakdown of each:

First Transaction:
-Two TGIF Frozen Meals, originally $3.49 each, on sale for $2.50 each, used two $1.00 off manufacturer coupons that doubled = $0.50 each

-Two whole chickens*, originally $5.99 each, used BOGO free store coupon from Rainbow coupon book = $2.50 each

-Two Organix Shampoos, originally $6.99 each, on sale BOGO free, plus I will be sending in a rebate for $5 = $1.00 each

-St. Ives Body Wash, originally $3.49, on sale for $1.99, used a $0.50 manufacturer coupon that doubled = $0.99

-Two Pillsbury Sweet Moments Refrigerated Brownies, originally $3.39, on sale for $2.50, used two $1.00 manufacturer coupons that doubled = $0.50 each

-Book of Forever Stamps = $8.80

Total = $24.77 before tax

-Two TGIF Frozen Meals, originally $3.49 each, on sale for $2.50 each, used two $1.00 off manufacturer coupons that doubled = $0.50 each

-Two McCain Frozen Potatoes, originally $3.49, on sale for $1.74 each, used two $1.00 off manufacturer coupons that doubled = -$0.26 each (not sure how this happened, I didn't think Rainbow did overages)
